Citizen checkers have a quality checking service. That means we check that services are good and meet the needs of the people they are for.
Our check puts people at the centre. We check using the 7 keys to citizenship.
The keys were developed to help ensure that all people, especially people with learning disabilities, are welcomed and respected as equal members of the community.
Peer Advocacy 
When people are having a hard time they sometimes like to talk to someone who knows what it feels like. we run peer advocacy session for people who are in out of county hospitals and people who are at risk.
Lived Experience Groups
We run Lived experience groups in Liskeard and Penzance for people who have been in mental health hospital or out of county placements or for people who might be at risk.
